Best LifeintheGreen.House Posts of 2023
This past year marks the first full year of LifeintheGreen.House, so it seems appropriate to capture the best posts of 2023! Looking forward to a year of growth, peace (in the midst of crazy), and strength! It definitely has been a year of trying to figure out how to express what I’ve been learning. Blogging is hard work. To be totally honest, I’m not sure it’s worth the effort. I just really love capturing information I’m passionate about, so I’m hoping eventually LifeintheGreen.House will find it’s way into your heart!
LifeintheGreen.House’s intention is to share a collection of information on simple traditional skills using this blogging platform for people who care about living, eating and growing naturally. Unlike other natural health websites and resources, LITGH combines traditional skills learning, natural eating and growing practices that fall in line with what God has provided. We offer to share resources for recipes, growing practices and lifestyles for basic skills, but also utilizing affiliate marketing methods to help people acquire products they need.
These blog posts are My Favorite! (Not necessarily in this order.)
1.
Sourdough! Who doesn’t love it? My preference is rye, but both wheat and rye recipes contain the steps to make it the most nutritious. The key in my opinion, is in the fermentation. See more of that here:
2.
Dog Treats! I love to make anything that will benefit my furry bestie! Must admit though, the photography isn’t that great. Someday, I’ll rework this blog to give my beautiful baby the attention she deserves! Be sure to check out the homemade food blog for dogs, as well.
3.
Laundry detergent! The search for the best laundry is ongoing for me. However, it’s fun to capture some basics when it comes to cleaning products. After all, what would we do if laundry options were no longer available?
4.
Beef Broth! With all of the talk about collagen, I’m surprised more people aren’t making time to make their own broth. It’s an essential in my house, and hope it will be in yours, too. Technically, this post was created in 2022, but, I wanted to include it since 2022 wasn’t a full year for LifeintheGreen.House.
5.
Growing ANYTHING makes my heart happy. This post is one of my favorites, but hoping for more in 2024!
My best posts of 2023 would also include blogs about anything involving my chickens. However, I decided to wait until 2024 to talk more about that because there are going to be so many posts involving them. Stay tuned!
Habakkuk 2:2
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
In 2019, I felt that God laid it on my heart to create a workbook/recipe book that helps people see how God’s heart aligns with natural living.
